The Team Lead (TL) Sales, is the key person in the delivery of the eFusion vision of exceptional people delivering exceptional product. He inspires, leads and develops a cohesive and focused team that passionately creates unique and memorable, sales service experiences for our customers and proactively while delivering sales and productivity targets.
Highly energetic, the TL coaches and updates his sales team regularly on performance progression for continuous improvement of their skills and knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Selling & Service Quality
• Work with Product and Sales Training Manager in driving sales through continuous training, monitoring, coaching, and sales targets with passion.
• Focus on ways to increase and continually improve conversion from sales closed to acceptance by customers, revenue per employee and average sales per employee.
• Support sales floor to ensure a high and positive energy, positive synergy among all teams.
• Observe, coach and react to continually improve customer experience and team productivity.
• Work with the Quality team to enhance the quality of customer service and to prevent product misrepresentation and mis-selling.
2. Team & Service Management
• Ensure sales team members have clear goals and objectives on the productivity targets.
• Supervise, coach and train the sales team on a daily basis to help produce consistent growth in skills, competencies and product knowledge.
• Share success stories and tips among the sales team.
• Create and promote a positive work environment in line with eFusion values.
• Assist the Senior Manager in sales staff retention, development and job satisfaction levels.
• Assist the Senior Manager in identifying future potential Team Leads and ensure development plans for this talent.
3. Product Management
• Assist the Senior Manager as a primary communication link between client and the consumers through providing timely feedback for the product marketed.
• Maintain a very high standard of product and brand knowledge in the team.
4. General
• Complete internal reports and participate in various projects as and when required.
• Supervise team compliance with all company policies and procedures, local regulations and relevant laws, raising any concerns or issues when necessary.
• Perform any other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner.
Requirements & Competencies:
• Education: Degree/Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Critical Skills: Fluency in English and other languages as required.
• Work experience: 1 – 2 years team leadership experience within telesales or sales industry preferred.
• Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, team oriented and be able to work well with personnel at
various levels.
- Able to multi-task with good composure under pressure.
- Energetic, resourceful and proactive team member with strong initiatives.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Professional in appearance, demeanour and language.
- Proficient in using MS tools, including Excel, Word & Powerpoint.
